Every year, Kainchi Dham ashram hosts a fair on 15th of June to commemorate the birth anniversary of Neem Karoli Baba.
Kainchi Dham is a famous Hindu temple and Ashram in the Nainital District of India. It was founded by revered Saint Shri Neem Karoli Baba in the 1960s and is nestled among picturesque hills and trees, with the Kosi river running beside it.
Kainchi Dham is a religious site in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. It is located in between two hills that cross each other like a pair of scissors, hence its name “Kainchi Dham”.
In the 1970s, Steve Jobs, former CEO of Apple, took a pilgrimage to Kainchi Dham temple and meditated there. Mark Zuckerberg (current CEO of Facebook) also visited this historically significant place. Recently, Virat Kohli – one of the most renowned cricketers – and Anushka Sharma, famous movie actress, visited the Kainchi Dham Temple.
